About Us
California Paper Bag is a family owned and operated business, who prides itself in bringing our customers quality paper bag products at a competitive price.
Our company services our customers with over 65 years of fast food paper bag engineering experience. Our founder began working in 1955 at the Grace Company, one of Cuba’s two manufacturers of paper bags, running their SOS bag machine at the age of 18. After having to leave Cuba in 1961 for political reasons, he started working at Westland Packaging as their supervisor, maintaining their machinery while overseeing production, after which he opened his own company with his son.
California Paper Bag has for over 35 years been a very active supplier to food service distributors and national accounts on the West Coast. We provided all Subway cookie bags for the U.S., KFC cookie bags for the whole U.S. and 5 DC’s for McDonald's for nineteen years. We supply a full line of grease resistant bags for cookies, sandwiches, donuts, french fries and other food packaging applications. We produce 800,000 bags on each of our machines in 8 hours five days a week. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

What We Offer
California Paper Bag stocks the full line of grease resistant, PFAS free, fast food paper bags. We continuously work with our paper suppliers to bring our customers the best food grade paper on the market. With the advent of PFAS free regulations we tested multiple samples of food grade PFAS free grease resistant paper until we found the perfect one. All paper used in our production, regardless of its application, is PFAS free. We manufacture a variety of grease resistant, Kraft, and dry wax pastry and sandwich bags in white, natural, and yellow. Our foil lined hot sacks are stocked in both plain and our house print in both quart and half gallon sizes.
